Participant Agreement & Waiver

By participating in a MyTrailPals experience, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Relationship to Other MyTrailPals Policies

This Participation Agreement & Waiver supplements, and should be read together with, MyTrailPals' Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Pricing & Refunds page, each of which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

2. Assumption of Risk

Outdoor activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • •Falls and slips
  • •Uneven terrain
  • •Wildlife encounters
  • •Weather conditions
  • •Physical exertion
  • •Illness or injury
  • •Transportation-related incidents
  • •Equipment failure
  • •Actions of other participants

You voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks associated with participation.

3. Fitness and Medical Responsibility

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically and medically capable of participating in the activity.

You are responsible for:

  • •Your physical condition
  • •Your medical needs
  • •Any medications you require
  • •Appropriate clothing and equipment

4. Participant Responsibility

You agree to:

  • •Follow host instructions
  • •Exercise reasonable judgment
  • •Act responsibly during the experience
  • •Discontinue participation if you feel unable to participate safely

5. Independent Hosts

You understand that experience hosts are independent organizers and are solely responsible for conducting their experiences.

MyTrailPals does not supervise, direct, or control host activities.

6. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless:

  • •MyTrailPals LLC
  • •MyTrailPals employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives
  • •Experience hosts and co-hosts
  • •Community organizers

from claims arising from your voluntary participation in the experience, except where prohibited by law.

8. Transportation and Carpooling

Any transportation or carpool arrangements are made directly between participants.

Drivers are not acting on behalf of MyTrailPals.

MyTrailPals is not responsible for transportation services, accidents, injuries, delays, or losses arising from transportation arrangements.

9. Photography and Media Release

Photos and videos may be taken during experiences.

Unless you notify the host in advance, you grant permission to MyTrailPals and the host to use photographs and videos for community, educational, and promotional purposes.

10. Refunds and Payments

Ticket purchases, fees, and refunds are governed by the Pricing & Refunds page published on the MyTrailPals platform, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

11. Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, participants are responsible for seeking appropriate medical assistance. MyTrailPals does not provide medical services.

Participant Acknowledgment

I have read this Participation Agreement and Waiver, and the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Pricing & Refunds page incorporated into it, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
